Specials Focused: SA Eats highlights new daily and weekly menu specials from our local restaurants, collaboratively updated by restaurant owners, with links to all open restaurants to offer you a variety of options. We also promote local retail shops and provide valuable resources in the links below. We update this site twice a day. "Refresh" your browser upon arrival to get the freshest content and food in town. Thank you for shopping and dining safely and locally in the Heart of Marin.
In challenging times, San Anselmo restaurants are fighting an uphill battle to serve our community, taking exceptional precautions in food handling, packaging, facility sterilization and guest interaction proximity, our local restaurants are offering take-out orders, curbside service and/or delivery. Hours and availability may vary from posted times and offers. Remember, Gift Cards from restaurants are a great gifts for neighbors, family and friends in need and reduce cash transactions.
Restaurants are considered Essential Businesses. Each restaurant operates independently. Owners appreciate the severity of the situation, and are taking all possible precautions in staffing, preparations, packaging and sanitation and operational/employee distancing. Businesses are required post their Social Distancing Protocol signage to the public and employees. It is our hope that our local restaurants are on the leading edge on employee, guest and public safety.
Peak times (4:30 PM-7 PM, especially Fridays) may create high demand, backing-up kitchens with longer order prep times. Delivery mobile app orders and online platforms have bandwidth challenges, glitches, plus driver availability and capacity: These are out of the restaurants' control. As we test the limits of capacity and peak times, please be patient.
Plan ahead and order a meal for the next day, or stock up for the week with a large order versus a single small item. Even scheduling advance same-day orders with restaurants for pick-up is a smart play to take the pressure of the system, minimize your wait time, and allows operators and chefs to better use their prep times efficiently to better serve everyone.
In addition to our mission of providing you a single-source page for dining specials from our participating restaurant community, SA Eat has links to local retailers, services, causes and fundraisers, plus links to business and individual emergency financial resources, programs and relevant updates on how businesses are responding to COVID-19.
Please provide next day's offering by 11 PM the previous day.
We update 2x per day; morning and mid-day to keep the daily content fresh, relevant an accurate.
What's all the noise about? It's the San Anselmo Community Howl at 8 PM every night. Release your primal emotion, pain, anger, frustration, hope, passion, determination and solidarity as thousands rally and "howl" from their porches, patios, yard, decks, storefronts and rooftops. Childish? Perhaps. Feels good? Absolutely. If anything is spreading, let's make it Hope and Howling. Release your inner beast every night at 8 pm.
