Every restaurant operates independently and servers our community to the highest level possible. Local, County and State guidelines and laws are followed to insure customer and employee safety. With a focus on sustainability and eco-friendly processes, reusable and 100% compostable takeout supplies are being used and implemented as standard operating procedures. The Town of San Anselmo also requires ALL patrons to pay 0.25 cents plus tax per cup for any and all takeout cups.  Visitors to "Live on the Avenue" are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles.  

 Peak times (5PM PM-7 PM, especially Fridays) may create high demand, backing-up kitchens with longer order prep times. Delivery mobile app orders and online platforms have bandwidth challenges, glitches, plus driver availability and capacity: These are out of the restaurants' control. As we test the limits of capacity and peak times, please be patient.  Visitors to "Live on the Avenue" and special downtown events are encouraged to bring picnic food, and thanks for helping keep our community trash free.

San Anselmo is a small town with narrow streets and limited parking. During the summer “Live on the Avenue” program. San Anselmo Avenue is closed to vehicle traffic and no parking is allowed on the event space of the Avenue. There are parking lots at Pin Street and Magnolia, plus either end of San Anselmo Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Please be courteous when parking on narrow residential streets. Biking, walking, carpooling, ride-share and public transit are highly recommended.
